How long should online articles be for those attempting to article market? Recently on one of the top online article websites the theories were discussed. And we all know that if you write lets say 5000 words in one day, that could be 10 articles at 500 words each or 20 articles at 250 words each and thus perhaps worthy to consider if your true goal is to attract online readers to your articles in hopes of driving targeted traffic to your website.

A couple of days ago I wrote nearly a hundred articles at about a 300 word average; 28,500 words. With now about 8750 that is about 2,625,000 words or so at my average article size. 90,000 words is often considered a book. So one could say that is the same as writing 29 books. Now my older articles were much longer, some nearly 3000 words. You know, some of my older stuff was good, but no one reads it, too dry I guess.

Today's online Internet surfers seem to read the shorter, quick stuff more, which is simply the way things are really. I would say that over time one does get better with things like spelling, grammar and or sentence structure too.

Of course good editing helps. Unfortunately when the output is really high and the quality editing is really low, then you need to get back to basics. Nevertheless a 275 to 400 word average can increase the quantity of articles and then a little editing ought to provide you with a great article marketing program you see? Consider all this in 2007.
